I disagree. Consider that Aeryn and I are both inmates, and you speak only from a warden's point of view. Constantly she and I are reminded that we were forcibly removed from our home universe and placed here. We expect similar treatment at every turn, and are thus well prepared when things go poorly for us.
And while you may argue that hostility breeds hostility, it has always been my experience that it is better to be hated than dead.
